Lutz Furniture is a design and fabrication studio founded by Peter Lutz with a dedication to creating handmade furniture and objects of enduring quality.
After receiving a fine arts degree Peter spent years working as a fabricator in a variety of disciplines: mold-making, production machining, interior yacht carpentry to name a few. Peter infuses a broad range of skills and a deep understanding of material into his designs. The result is furniture that melds traditional techniques with an unadorned aesthetic, accentuating natural materials and handcrafted details.
In addition to the Lutz Furniture product line, Peter collaborates directly with clients, designers, and architects in producing custom designs for projects of any scale. Peter is knowledge and adept at all phases of design and fabrication: providing drawings, matching finishes, material procurement, as well as prototyping and product development.
